Lecture 2 - Visualisation & Conseptualisation
I found this weeks topics very interesting. In regards to my practise as an visual artist it is very important to know the different tecniques and the philosophy behind it. I learned how it is important to plan, arrange and use props when making a movie. This is something I been thinking about for a time now, and I was glad to hear that all my ideas, drafts and inspiration will come in handy someday. The lecture gave me encouragement to draw new ideas in my head with the creative process of visualisation & conseptualisation. We watched a prime example of these consepts in the movie Sky Captain & The World Of Tomorrow. The writer spent 7 years working on the script but was unable to sell it until he buildt props and filmed his vision.
I saw the movie American History X for the third time this week. The time -line, music, plot and enviroment/props of this movie is a good example of these consepts.
